Real Diamonds, Grown Rather than Mined

A lab grown diamond is made of the same crystal carbon as a mined diamond, with the same hardness of 10 on the Mohs scale and the same white sparkle. The difference is its origin: it is grown in a lab instead of being dug from the ground. Because of that, it costs far less than a mined diamond of the same size, so the same budget can stretch to a larger center stone or a platinum setting.

Each ring page lists the color, clarity and carat options for its diamond. Most of our rings let you choose a centre from 1 to 10 carats.

How Your Ring Is Made

Every ring is made to order. We select the diamond, then cast and finish the setting by hand in your size and metal at our studio in Bhavnagar, Gujarat. Crafting takes about 8–10 business days, and each ring is checked, stamped with its purity mark and shipped free, insured and tracked, with a signature on delivery. It comes with a Bhumi Gems certificate of authenticity recording the stone, carat and metal, and every centre diamond of 1 carat or more also comes with its own IGI grading report.

Shape and Carat: What to Compare

Two diamonds of the same carat weight can look quite different on the hand. Longer shapes such as oval, pear, marquise and emerald spread across more of the finger, while round and cushion stones carry more of their weight in depth. Compare the millimetre size listed for each carat option, and look at the worn photos to judge the size on a hand.

  • Round: the brightest classic sparkle, and easy to match with any band.
  • Oval: a soft, elongated outline that makes the finger look longer.
  • Emerald and Asscher: step cuts with long, clean facets and a calm, mirror-like look.
  • Pear and marquise: pointed shapes, set with a protective prong on each tip.
  • Cushion, radiant and princess: square and rectangular brilliant cuts with plenty of sparkle.

Settings and Metals

Choose a classic prong solitaire, a hidden halo that adds sparkle under the center stone, a bezel that protects its edge, or a three stone design. Every ring is offered in 925 sterling silver, 10K, 14K or 18K gold in yellow, white or rose, or platinum. For daily wear, 14K gold or platinum is the most practical choice for a diamond you plan to wear for decades.

Lab Grown Diamond or Moissanite?

Are lab grown diamonds real diamonds?

Yes. A lab grown diamond is made of the same crystal carbon as a mined diamond and has the same hardness and sparkle. It is grown in a lab instead of being mined.

Will a lab grown diamond pass a diamond tester?

Yes. Standard diamond testers read a lab grown diamond as diamond, because it is one. Telling a lab grown diamond from a mined one needs specialist laboratory equipment.

Does my ring come with an IGI or GIA report?

Every lab grown diamond ring with a centre stone of 1 carat or more comes with an IGI grading report for the centre diamond, together with a Bhumi Gems certificate of authenticity stating the stone, carat and metal. The report number can be checked on IGI's website. We do not supply GIA reports.

How long will my ring take to arrive?

Crafting takes about 8–10 business days. Free standard shipping then usually takes 8–20 business days, or 6–9 business days with express delivery ($24.99).

Which carat weight should I choose?

Choose by size on the hand as well as weight. Compare the millimetre measurements listed for each carat option and look at the worn photos. Longer shapes such as oval and pear look larger than a round stone of the same weight.

Can I buy a matching wedding band?

Yes. Our lab grown diamond ring sets pair an engagement ring with a band made to match it. Message us if you want help choosing a band that sits neatly beside your ring.

Do I have to pay import duties?

Our prices do not include import duties or taxes. Depending on your country, customs may charge them when the parcel arrives, and they are paid by the buyer.

Can I return my ring?

Yes, within 30 days of delivery if it is unworn and in its original packaging. For a change of mind you pay the return shipping and a 10% restocking fee applies. Resized, engraved and custom pieces are final sale.
