Lab Grown Diamond Earrings

Lab grown diamond stud earrings in four-prong, martini, bezel and halo settings, with round, oval, pear, emerald, princess and heart stones. Choose from about 0.5 to 3 carats total, made to order in 925 sterling silver, 10K, 14K or 18K solid gold, or platinum.

Four Stud Settings Compared

  • Four-prong: the classic stud. Little metal shows, so the most light reaches the diamond.
  • Three-prong martini: the stone sits in a cone-shaped basket that lets the stud rest closer to the earlobe.
  • Bezel: a smooth rim of metal circles the stone. It protects the edges and does not snag on hair or scarves.
  • Halo: a ring of small diamonds frames the centre stone and makes the whole stud look larger.

What Carat Total Weight Means

Earrings are sold by carat total weight (ct tw), the weight of both earrings together. A 1 ct tw pair holds two stones of about 0.5 ct each. Around 0.5 ct tw looks quiet and refined, 1 to 1.5 ct tw is a popular everyday size, and 2 to 3 ct tw is a clear statement.

Screw Back or Push Back

Where a listing offers both, a screw back threads onto the post and is the more secure choice for larger stones. A push back slides on and off quickly and suits smaller studs you take out often.

A Real Diamond, Grown in a Lab

A lab grown diamond is carbon crystal with the same chemical, physical and optical properties as a mined diamond; only its origin is different. Each pair ships with a Bhumi Gems certificate of authenticity, every diamond of 1 carat or more (in pairs of 2 ct tw and above) also comes with an IGI grading report, and every setting is stamped with its metal. Common Questions

What does ct tw mean?

Carat total weight: the combined weight of the stones in both earrings. A 1 ct tw pair has two stones of about 0.5 ct each.

Are lab grown diamonds real diamonds?

Yes. They have the same chemical, physical and optical properties as mined diamonds. The only difference is that they are grown in a lab rather than mined.

Do the earrings come with a grading report?

Each pair ships with a Bhumi Gems certificate of authenticity. Every lab grown diamond of 1 carat or more also comes with an IGI grading report, so pairs of 2 ct tw and above, with stones of 1 ct each, include IGI reports.

Which earring back should I choose?

Screw backs are the most secure, especially for larger stones. Push backs are quicker to put on and take off.

Which metals are available?

925 sterling silver, 10K, 14K or 18K solid gold in yellow, white or rose, and platinum, depending on the design.

How long does it take?

Each pair is made to order in 8 to 10 business days, then free standard shipping takes 8 to 20 business days, or express 6 to 9 business days.
