Moissanite Tennis Bracelets

A tennis bracelet is a flexible line of matched stones, each in its own setting. Ours range from about 3 to 10 carats total, in four-prong, illusion, open basket and solitaire-centre designs, made to order in 925 sterling silver or 10K, 14K or 18K solid gold.

Why It Is Called a Tennis Bracelet

For years this style was simply called a line bracelet. The name tennis bracelet is usually traced to a professional match in the late 1980s, when play was paused so a player could find a dropped line bracelet. The name stuck, and today it means any flexible bracelet set with a continuous row of stones.

Four Setting Styles

  • Four-prong: each stone is held by four small prongs, so the most light reaches it.
  • Illusion: a small stone sits in a square frame of polished metal that reflects light and makes it look larger. Our square illusion design uses 2.5 mm stones.
  • Open basket: open sides let light in from every angle. Our 10 carat design uses 4 mm stones for a bold line.
  • Solitaire centre: one larger stone in the middle, flanked by a line of smaller ones.

Total Carat Weight and Stone Size

Total carat weight adds up every stone in the bracelet. Two bracelets with a similar total can look very different: a line of 4 mm stones looks bold, while a line of 2.5 mm stones looks fine and delicate. Each listing gives the stone size in millimetres.

Getting the Fit Right

Some of our designs finish in an adjustable box chain that fits most wrists; others are a fixed line. Measure your wrist snugly with a soft tape and add about half an inch to one inch for a comfortable fit. If you are unsure, contact us before ordering.

Wearing It Every Day

Moissanite rates 9.25 on the Mohs scale, so the stones resist scratches well. A bracelet takes more knocks than a necklace, though, so take it off for the gym and heavy work, and check the clasp from time to time. Pair it with our moissanite earrings in the same metal for a matching set.

Common Questions

What is a moissanite tennis bracelet?

It is a flexible bracelet set with a continuous line of moissanite stones, each in its own setting.

How much does a moissanite tennis bracelet cost?

In 925 sterling silver ours start at $343.40 for the 3.19 carat four-prong design, $365.87 for the 4.17 carat solitaire-centre design, $403.99 for the 4.60 carat illusion design and $605.99 for the 10 carat open basket design. What size bracelet do I need?

Measure your wrist snugly and add about half an inch to one inch. Some of our designs have an adjustable box chain that fits most wrists; each listing says which.

Should I choose silver or gold?

925 sterling silver is the lower-cost choice. Solid 10K, 14K or 18K gold is stronger and better suited to a bracelet you plan to wear every day.

Can I wear it in the shower?

It is better to take it off. Soap and lotion leave a film that dulls the sparkle, and a bracelet is easier to knock or snag when you are not paying attention to it.

How long does it take?

Each bracelet is made to order in 8 to 10 business days, then free standard shipping takes 8 to 20 business days, or express 6 to 9 business days.
